As entertainment continues to evolve, so does drag. I sat down one day and put together a plan to execute the first national pageant that promotes an entertainer's individuality without having to conform to any gender identity. The National MX Pageant was created for ALL entertainers to have a national platform to showcase their talents. MX will enable them to travel across the country and have no boundaries as entertainers while representing The National MX Pageant. This pageant's goal is to give entertainers of any gender identity a platform in without having to check any specific box. No matter how you Identify, we celebrate you! I have been asked multiple times what the MX pageant is all about and my answer is simple. Growing up and feeling that I as a gay man didn't belong in a group always made me feel like an outsider. I personally never want anyone to feel that way, ever. As I was putting together all parts of this pageant, I had the vision of all types of drag on the same stage in a showcase of the best of the best! With some amazing individuals in my corner I am excited to have the opportunity to put together this pageant with all of them. Now is the time to celebrate each individual for who they are! CATEGORIES 〰️

CREATIVE PRESENTATION

The presentation costume is of each contestants choosing. It should reflect your personal creativity, style and character. Each contestant will be required to introduce themself to the audience and each one is allowed to make a brief clever comment.

RUNWAY FASHION

The Runway Fashion category allows the contestants to pick a style and presentation type that allows them to feel comfortable with High Fashion, creativity and overall sense of being yourself. Each contestant will be judged one at a time in this category. It may be of any color, style, and fashion. Contestants will be judged on attire selection, fit, hair, accessories, poise, modeling ability, and general appearance.

TALENT

Only the top 5 contestants will have the Question and Answer category. The purpose of the question and answer category is to allow the judges some insight into the character and intellect of the contestant. Contestants will have to answer a question that will be given to them to read and as well read to them out loud.

5 MINUETS

Talent may be any type of entertainment presentation.
